Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains how Vyne (Red Target Ajman — FZ-LLC], registration 526958-9652.2025, based in Ajman Free Zone — Ajman, Emirados Árabes Unidos) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data. Because the platform is offered to churches in Brazil, we honor Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law No. 13.709/2018) for data subjects located in Brazil, alongside applicable data protection law in the United Arab Emirates. By using the Vyne platform, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data processed on the platform is Red Target Ajman — FZ-LLC], registered under 526958-9652.2025, with its head office at [Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, EAU] (Ajman Free Zone — Ajman, Emirados Árabes Unidos).
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at privacy@vyneapp.social.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how the platform is used, we collect:
- Church and user account data: name, email, phone, role and password (stored encrypted).
- Member, visitor and child data entered by the church: names, contacts, home-group information, schedules, pastoral notes and, in Kids Ministry, data such as guardians and allergies.
- Photos uploaded by the church and, when FaceX is enabled, facial biometric data used solely for selfie-based photo search.
- Prayer requests, which may be anonymous or identified.
- Usage and technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and cookies (see the Cookies section).
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data to: (i) provide and operate the platform and its features; (ii) authenticate users and keep accounts secure; (iii) process subscription payments; (iv) provide support; (v) comply with legal obligations; and (vi) improve the platform through analytics.
Applicable legal bases include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interest and, where required — such as FaceX biometric data and analytics cookies — the data subject's consent.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies, required for the site to function and stay secure, which cannot be turned off.
We also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the site is used. These are only activated after your consent, which you can grant or refuse through the cookie banner and change at any time by clearing your browser cookies.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with processors who help us deliver the service under contract and our instructions, including cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, payment processors, and analytics tools (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity).
We may also share data when required by law, court order or a competent authority.
6. Information security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect data, such as isolating each church's data in its own private space, encrypting passwords, optional two-step authentication and role-based access controls.
No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to reduce risk and respond to incidents.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes in this Policy and for the duration of the contractual relationship with the church.
After an account is closed, data may be deleted or anonymized, except where law requires longer retention.
8. Your rights
Under the LGPD you may request: confirmation of processing; access to your data; correction of incomplete or outdated data; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data; portability; information about sharing; and withdrawal of consent.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@vyneapp.social. Note that for member and child records entered by a church, the church acts as the controller of those records and should be contacted directly.
9. Children's data
Kids Ministry processes children's data solely in their best interest. This data is entered and managed by the church, which is responsible for obtaining consent from parents or legal guardians where applicable.
10. International transfers
Some of our infrastructure and analytics providers may process data outside Brazil. In such cases we apply safeguards to ensure an adequate level of protection as required by the LGPD.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels.
12. Contact
